During his tenure at Hertz, Payne led the development and execution of the company’s fleet electrification strategy across North America and Europe, managing one of the largest EV fleets in the region. He built strategic partnerships with Charge Point Operators (CPOs) and infrastructure providers while overseeing nationwide projects that supported fleet electrification. His leadership also drove the development of cutting-edge EV software integrations and key initiatives, including the development of EV hubs, all aimed at promoting EV and AV fleet transition and operation effectiveness.
